Marius Rodrigues
マリウス・ロドリゲス
Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Marius won the Best Technique Prize at Batuka — Brazil's national drum contest — at 17, before going on to study under Kiko Freitas, one of the most celebrated Brazilian drummers alive.
ブラジルのポルト・アレグレ出身。17歳でブラジル全国ドラムコンテスト「バトゥカ」で最優秀テクニック賞を受賞後、ブラジルが誇るドラマーキコ・フレイタスに師事。
He spent 20 years on the London jazz scene — performing at Ronnie Scott's, the London Jazz Festival, and venues across Europe — before bringing that depth of experience to Tokyo.
ロンドンジャズシーンで20年間、ロニー・スコッツやロンドン・ジャズ・フェスティバルなどで活躍。その深い経験を持って東京へ。
